Another "What Computer Should I Get" Question

Current computer keeps crashing so I need a new one. The big three would be video card, memory, and CPU. I would most likely get a Dell and I would think an Nvidia card for video. What's the best to get right now for under $2,000 and preferably more like $1,000?
