Daz3d "scene" into UE4

Can a scene, or even Daz3d objects, be imported and used in a game engine such as UE4?

I really love the medieval scenes, such as "Perouges, Medieval Village", and would love to place them into a game world so that I can have a character run around in them.

Is this possible - even with a little tweeking?

Thanks for your time!

As long as it's for personal use and not shared or sold, then yes, you can export as a .OBJ ot .FBX and import into a game engine. You will probably have to rework all the textures/materials though.

  • Yes, it's just for a personal project, nothing commercial at all.  I just wasn't sure if those things were only for creating image scenes or if they were actually "functional" objects or places that can be interacted with in a game engine.

    Thanks for the reply!  :)
