I can't ID the hair, but I can answer this conundrum - there are multiple different reasons.

- Artists generally do the promo pictures months before the model is accepted for sale. By that time, they may well simply not remember, and it's not worth spending ages going back through old scene files to find out.
- Promo pictures are often also done by people testing the product. The person uploading may not actually know what product it was.
- The product is not on the Daz store, and Daz does not link to products on other stores.
- The product isn't available for sale.
- The product wasn't available for sale (remembering the artist may be testing other future products at the same time), and nobody remembered to go back to update it by the time it was.
- And, of course, the seller simply didn't want to put the effort in; if it's not their products, there's not much incentive.
