Is https://www.daz3d.com/terms-of-service of any help to you? And I believe there is a thread somewhere on acceptable ways of handling nudity (which I haven't actually looked at). Apart from those, I believe it is up to the Moderators' discretion if an image gets deleted or reviewed (No doubt I'll get corrected if I'm wrong).

It is up to the Forum Moderation Team, after a meeting and a discussion. Has to be a quorum. That is one way that the Daz Forum Team is different to most forums,  we are a team,   we do talk to each other and we do not make Unilateral decisions.

    The FMT...

Thats kinda cool... I never pictured a team...

Now that I’m picturing a team, I’ve got lots of questions...

Would you say this team is more like the Justice League or the Avengers?

I’m picturing Justice League because in the cheesy 70s cartoons they sat around a table discussing things... in the movies, the Avengers always seem to be having a lot of personality conflicts...

Does the FMT have a lair?... I’m picturing it being in a blimp or zeppelin... maybe that’s a little too 30s comic bookish... it’s probably hidden under an abandoned zeppelin factory... no need to confirm that though, I’m sure it’s a secret.

    Also.. are spandex costumes involved?

    Are there capes?

Does your team have a super villain/arch nemesis?... If you don’t, are you interested in the possibility of having one?... I’m just asking for a friend.

Well, if it's the Avengers I'm going to be the John Steed character.

Which version... Ralph Fiennes or Patrick Macnee?

Just foolin’... There was only one version.

If anyone has to ask which, just google the 90s movie and that’ll be enough... whatever you do, don’t watch it!

I believe they added it to a list of types of torture as defined by the Geneva Convention.

Actually, I happed to catch the Japanese dub of the movie on a flight to Japan and it was MUCH better than the original English langiage version, especially Sean Connery, who practically slept-walked through his part in English.  His Japanese voice actor, on the other hand, was seriously into the show and gave a phenomenal performance, to the point of doing a great scottish accent in Japanese, which I didn't think was possible before that...

In Britain we had the TV version before you got the americanised version on filum.

Thinking about it,  seeing as he mentioned it, I think I shall start calling Richard "Steed"

I'm sufficiently old that whenever anyone mentions 'The Avengers' I get confused for a moment until I realise they are talking about the 'upstarts' from Marvel and not John Steed et al.

Well I recall reacting the same to the New Avengers

I was totally confused as I thought of Johanna Lumley as Purdey and was wondering who or what these other people were

If Richard is Steed, then you must be Purdey. So, who is Gambit?

Are all decisions biased or unbiased or both? Do some people get more slack than others or is it carved in stone?

We try to judge uniformly, and don't usually look to see who posted when doing so.

Thanks. I was curious about it. For clarity would an image/art similar to the elf (in white) the 5th in the header on the DAZ3d home page, be appropriate to post in one of the forums here (referring to bikini line area)?

What gets me is I've had images yanked where they were covered up more than current gallery images and images used in promos. You got two nudes in the gallery right now just from yesterday and they show more skin than what I've had taken down. I'm fine with a line being drawn, I have a problem when the line keeps moving.

It would require discussion,I think - mostly it's OK but there might be a little area where there is neither clothing nor limb obstructing the line of sight. Presumably the gallery team (which is not the same as the forum team, so we may end up drawing different conclusions in nborderline cases) already checked it and passed it.

I was thinking that Cris Palomino, Chohole, and Daz_Ann0314 could "discuss" the distribution of Emma Peel, Cathy Gale, and Purdey among themselves (and Tara King, though she was never given as much to do). Frank0314 can have Gambit.

Well I think the most used sought after and bought items that sells at least some of the pro bundles  the discretely named anatomical elements would top that list devil

I am amused by the notion that the characters all have individually named genitalia.
(Normally, "discreet" vs. "discrete" isn't quite as funny as "complementary" vs. "complimentary" - I've seen a lot of airlines advertising luggage that apparently makes flattering comments).

We had the TV versions as well, but they were syndicated rather than on networks so different cities saw them at different times and some of the earlier B&W episodes, especially the ones with Ian Hendry and Honor Blackman ,didn't get seen much at all.  Kind of like Dr. Who, where some American cities(like Washington DC) started getting broadcasts of the color John Pertwee episodes in the early 70s while others had to wait until the Tom Baker run began.

Then I shall think of you as 'Mrs Peel': very appropriate given some later Greek tragic roles played by Diana Rigg. But surely that umbrella is too ..., well too sharp for ToS?

AFAIK the Japanese even manage to produce some decent Whisky, which in my opinion is an even tougher task than doing just a scottish accent. devil

The "Nudity Debate" has been ongoing since each community posted its guidelines. Nothing much has changed. Why bother fighting it? I'm sure there is at least one online site that allows nudes?! I just can't be bothered any more.

thanks everyone for understanding sharing my confusion/frustration. Again like to point out this thread is not complaining about nudity I know, understand and accept that nudity is not allowed here and am ok with that the problem is when there is not nudity but accussed of it and other things and being too suggestive. Ok maybe sometimes I do do cheesecake naughty cheeky but what is wrong with that it isn't explicit. The deleter sent me an extreme closeup of my image pointing out a milifraction at the edge of her top pointing out her aereola could barely see it could've been shadow or anything. Another image was a fully clothed Akio jumping in the air and as you know dresses fly up and showed her underwear which was large and fully covering - which brings back what I said about pose sets as you know ice skaters have short skirts and you always see their underwear and how their coskaters hold them same with ballet dancers. Then there's various dances like the 50's don't know their names but remember how the guy throw the girl around and she'd wrap her legs around her waist. Wresting such as tv wresting moves like the Tombstone Pile Drive, head scissors takedown, powerbomb, stinkface. And then there's a lot of the couple poses hugs, lift ups, resuscitate poses,  and such a lot of Zed's would could get you in trouble like the promo for Summer School Summer Fun promo main image. Kinda like the old days when dancing or anything else you had to be a certain distance apart and not touching

Can really sympathize.  Did check out the Women on cow at your DA.  Looked like maybe? or maybe not? a slight edge of aerola visible in the shade of the clothing.  Like really slight.

Then going through Elios thread and seeing male nipples proudly on display and male bum-cracks.  Can only marvel at the culture that came up with this construct, and explanations for why this needs to continue still today.    Would like to see where Paypal or other pay-processors consider tasteful nudity as scandalous porn.   Would hope that DAZ & moderation team can revisit these guidelines every once in a while.  Societal conventions are still changing.  And artist communities can be some form of leader in this change.

  • one of my themes been doing is based on wrestling and fighting games, this one features a typical pin and is also very close to a pose and main promo image of a new pose set released yesterday which I haven't bought as I have a feeling it is not allowed to be used and any render using this would be removed with a very angry threatening letter comment on it - last one I got was. And I don't think could get a refund over a pose set because of not being allowed to use it. Converted in my money it is very high amount to lose over double the listed price at moment.

I like the general pg-13 feel for the site. Hits the largest potential mainstream audience. There are other sites for stuff that's too dark or over sexed. Its usualy a camera angle choice that would make the same pose appropriate in one instance and crossing the line in another.

a man posed holding his pectorals like that would be perfectly fine

sexism and body shaming just never goes away in all aspects of our lives angry

this stuff also reminds me of the shots of Elvis Presley where they only showed him above the waist for his pelvis thrusting moves

and subsequent recent reactions to Jennifer Lopez's choreography at the Superbowl

and who can forget the lambada

people have been doing very "suggestive " dances around campfires in very little attire for tens of thousands of years

I'm surprised that pose even made it into the set.  It's not a pose shown in the promos, so it's not a matter of them not letting you use something advertised.

Yes, there is content in the store which cannot be used in gellery/forum posts (at least not without adjustment/ngenuity),

We allowed images of the Severed Man set only in its commercial thread.
