I was so pleased to see that one of the master morphers in the business has turned up in the DAZ store. Welcome, AliveSheCried.

I love their alt sets. But you know what? I didn't even notice they were in the store, because the banners today are out of order, and I just thought that there weren't any new items for the weekend (which isn't that uncommon). Thanks for pointing it out!
Welcome. Ive followed your products at the other store (have purchased a few). While im happy to see you here at D3d, I cant help but notice a price hike when comparing your debut product, https://www.daz3d.com/alt-kala-8 , with other similar products that you sell ot the other store. Perhaps this is an error.
Welcome.
Aw, come on... it's only a difference of $ 7.- or so... Everybody will be glad to pay a wee bit more to get their stuff directly from DAZ, right? Right??
Daz frequently has sales here where the vendor's products are 60%-70% off and sometimes more. That's not a frequent occurrence at the other place. I'm not sure if that's the reasoning behind it but to me it does make sense to price knowing well that your products are going to be deeply discounted fairly frequently. Also, they may have priced it at a different price and it could have been changed - as Daz makes the final decisions on the prices and usually tries to keep similar products in the same price range. When was the last time you saw a shaping pack at Daz3D with a base price of $11.95? Or for that matter, anything else released at that base price (not including RDNA products or products made for PC+)? Even pose sets and texture add-ons usually start out at $14.95 base price. And let's be honest, almost no one pays base price/full price for products at Daz - but rather usually purchasing when they're on sale (and often deeply discounted). So I don't think it's reasonable to expect the same prices at such different venues. :) That's just my opinion (and two cents), of course. :D
"usually purchasing when they're on sale"
I am with Diva on her explanation, although it may not be something that new users are as familiar with as long-time DAZ users.
Personally I feel the more stores to shop at the better and have no issues installing content from other sites, but if the vendor is happy coming here, then I am happy for them. Best of luck!
As someone who has 76 of their sets from the other store, I'm glad to see AliveSheCried showing up here, even with the price hike. At Rendo ASC's pricing has only rarely dropped to 50% off on sale, usually more in the 30% off range, and coupons seldom apply to their items. By the time the usual DAZ sales tricks kick in, it'll pretty much be a wash. Now,what would really be nice if some of their older morph sets t*hat disappeared from Rendo showed up here.
*Yes, seventy six. Kind of blew my mind when I went back and checked.
And I always thought that at Rendo the artists had the choice of allowing coupons to work with their stuff and if they would want to take part in a flashsale / reduced price sale...
