Is There A Reason The HDRI In A Scene Is Not Saved?

Is there a reason the HDRI is not saved when saving a scene file?  I ts very frustrating to load a scene and have no idea what HDRI I finally chose after trying out 20 or 30 for a scene (I use the Iradience Light Probes alot and have all the extentions, which is at least a couple hundred.  And yes, I will go through the whole list on occasion

Are you opening or merging the file? When I open a file, environment settings are loaded, if I merge into a scene they are not.

Otherwise I guess the questions would be, what version of Studio, and does this happen to every scene file or only sometimes.

Nope just opening and I use both 4.10 and the Beta version and it happens in both.

It does save the HDRIs for me, in 4.10.0.123. At least if I load it manually as Environment Map, don't know if there are other ways to add it. If it can't find the HDRI when I load the scene it asks for it.

Try to check the settings under Preferences > Scene, maybe it's set not to save or load Render Settings. If the settings look OK, try to change them, then apply, then change them back and apply again.

Go to the Edit menu and under Preferences/Scene make sure the 'Record settings when saving a scene file' are checked.

and that the option to Ignore reder settings on load isn't checked.

I hadn't thought to mention those as I have them all unchecked :)
