File > Save not working correctly in DS4.6

There seems to be a bug in v4.6

When I go to save a scene (that I have already saved and been working on) using File > Save , I get prompted by an open folder and asked to specify a file to save the scene as! This is not what File > Save (or Ctrl-S) should be doing. It should simply save the scene to the existing file and get on with things.

It is File > Save as... that is supposed to ask you where and what you want to save to. This is a standard windows convention.

Can this be corrected please, as it's very time consuming when trying to just perform periodic saves to carry on working.

    In DS go to Edit - Preferences and under general menu fill in Author name (Edit... button). Restart DS. It should stop asking for file name after you save it with authors name.
