Thanks for a great Memorial Day Weekend sale; Straighforward with excellent discounts and no any extraneous requirements to get them.

I way overspent; but I cleared half my wishlist.

    I didn't go as far as half, but I took away too many much-lusted-after things, and still had to leave many things I wanted badly behind.  Sigh.  Good sale!

    I also appreciate how straighforward the sale was. I only picked up a few things that don't usually go on sale since the discounts were not that deep.

    I don't know. I thought some of the discounts were pretty good.

    I got all of my wislist items that were 70% or 65% off because that is about as good as most flash sales. Then I also picked up a few of the ones that I really wanted now and that were 60% off

    I bought the gift card and used that, and only bought the 70% off, which makes it 80% and stuck to things I'd been waiting for that hadn't been on a very deep sale for the last year.  I don't feel frugal, exactly - the gift card is gone! - but I do feel I got value for my pathetic CDN$.  :-D  Also, I did not have to buy something I didn't want to get everything I did, which makes me happy!  Admittedly, I use a lot of mid-aged content, so that probably influences my appreciation; circa G1/G2 is always good for me.
