Smart Content question; can it install required stuff that is owned but not yet installed?

I just tried to load the Dachshund but apparently did not have Dog 8 installed so it just loaded a bunch of white boxes.  Why did it not warn me that the Dog 8 was not installed and offered to install it for me?

It should do that, usually. Why it didn't in this case I don't know.

It happened 2 or 3 times to me too.

The staff told me it was because the folder location was too long, since I had changed the default ones, and maybe that specific file has long folder names and structure too

I beleive this is a Windows issue. I run into files being unopenable due to long file names in the last of a long line of subfolders. Drives end users nuts.
