I really want this versatile hair, but I don't play with iray. Any hopes of someone creating 3DL textures for it?

Err, the textures would be the same, you mean shader presets maybe? Just load the hair, select it and all the surfaces, double click on the 3DL shader of choice, DS default renders fastest but the OmUberSurface shader has more options (2 specular lobes, translucency, SSS). You may have to browse to the textures folder and manually search for and load the transparency maps, and maybe specular maps if provided.

ETA: just checked the maps included, and yes it has spec maps;)

Wowie may release a "Touchable" add-on for it, those include 3DL materials.

I hope so ... I have it squatting in my cart just in case I find out it will be 3DL friendly at some point. For some crazy reason, I've never had much luck altering shader presets. Click and go stuff is what I prefer.
