I'm looking for a reliable Cloud Storage, possibly not too expensive... Someone has a suggestion about it?

Google has Google drive for free, pretty reliable for sharing basic files . But if your looking for a cloud for daily back ups I highly recommend carbonite which use to be mosey for system back up solutions, the plan i use for my server is $99 a year no storage limits. i use a API for direct back up blast for nightly back-up. mosey runs in the back ground hardly uses resources and it does not spy on you.( that I am aware of anyway) . I have my system set up for blasting at night when my system is not being use. the one draw back is I have mosey set to do a shadow copy of my systems every 14 days and boy when the system is blasting a shadow copy back up even the fastest internet will come to a crawl. you can manualy pause the back up if you need to.
I can't really say if its worth the $99 a year I pay or not yet, as I have never had to draw a system shadow copy back up from mosey for recovery on my system., we did a mock test in a server sand box and it worked great. my husband calls it cheap insurance for what I have invested . thats my 2 cents
Thanks, Ivy! 99$ a year is surely good for unlimited storage, I'll check it immediately!
I mainly looking for a space where to keep safe my old projects, so I can have room for new ones.
For just project storage . why not use google drive its free you get 10 gigs of free storage &10 gigs is a lot for DUF scene files, and you can purchase extra space cheap by signing up for google genie https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2375123?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en if you need it, so you only pay for what you need , and you can access those files with any deviceor pc 10 gigs is a lot for DUF scene files
mosey requires you to have direct connection to the device & a back up directory, its used for whole systems back up and recovery so yes for the $99 I pay my system is worth it to me but if i wanted to share my files with my other devices google drive is how i would go.
Google also has what they call "coldline storage," which is mostly intended for backup purposes. It's quite cheap as long as you don't use it too often (there's a storage fee which is cheap, and a retrieval fee which is not so much). What I like about it is that you can tell Google not to allow anyone to delete the files for a set number of days/months/years. So basically, if someone steals your computer, and thus has access to your online backups, they still can't delete those files.
10 Gigs aren't enough for me, my projects tend to be pretty big.

Creating animations takes a lot of space (you can understand, Ivy!
@Ati
Thanks for the info, but I don't need that kind of security, luckily.
Yes I totally understand. thats why i went with mosey , Ive been using them for 3 years with no issues . and all my devices have access to my home server so you can do that as well. Carbonite had just taken over mosey, so I am still under the original storage plan. I am not sure what changes will be made once the merge has been completed or if there going to be any cost increases or not you might want to get on the old plans ASAP. if they have not changed things already my weekly new letter i get from them state new and exciting changes and improvements are coming so. when i hear stuff like that i start getting suspicious ..lol
Yes, that's the risk of subscriptions... That's why I tend to avoid that kind of deal.
Online I found an offer for a lifetime 10Tb (yes, terabytes!) for 100$... It sounds a bit too much good to be real...
It would be very nice to find a good service with one-time fee.
Anyway I checked the service you told me about, there's a plan for just 75$ that it looks perfect for me.
thats awesome $75 is great price. I have the enterprise plan because i use a lot of server side database and they support Microsoft Azure coding which is cost $99 for now but i do expect cost increases in Nov 2019
CrashPlan offers Small Business accounts for $10/month per PC + external drives, unlimited backup. Have used them for several years, and everything works very well. Free 1 month trial.
Avoid cheap one-time fee unlimited space offers, no reliable business will ever offer that. It's usually resellers who oversell and they can be shut down any time.
Thanks for the advice! I'll check that but I think the first deal is hard to beat.
Yes, I thought the same when I saw that offer, the strangest is that the company seems to be solid and well known.
Which company is it?
