Putting the new toon furniture to good use. It's the perfect size for the kids, as modelled here by Genesis and Genesis 2 Female.

    ...sweet.

I might have to get that.

]The PS3 I found here using Google search. It also includes two controllers, which I detached from the original model and exported as an separate object. The TV is a simple box primitive with a plane positioned to simulate the screen.

    Thanks,

    It's pretty cool!

Well, I bought both the M6 and V6 HD packages,

I've only had chance to work with M6 HD so far. I really like the Bjorn texture, but, the morphs are a little underwhelming. They're something that could have been incorporated with G2 from the get go and not shoehorned in later as a marketing ploy. The textures were worth the money, but, not sure yet about the morphs.

The eyes are the G2M preset from Reinterjection, I don't know why but the standard ones look odd and the tear renders bright white.

Bjorn's expression is a bit like mine right now.....

...I hope this HD thing is not going to replace the basic G2F/M Merchant Resource Morph Kits.

Still waiting on a G2F Body Morph Resource Kit as well as now both Body and Head Morph kits for G2M. I find these so useful for character development.

    Shouldn't think so,

I thought Elite was more impressive as you got morphs, textures and some characters.

...never got any of the Elite stuff back when I was still working in 32 bit as the textures were more than my system could handle during rendering.

When Elite came out, I was of course using Poser and really had a hard time getting the textures looking right without the benefits of the UE and EHSS. I did use the morphs a lot though. It's only since I've had DS that I've really been able to appreciate how good Daz textures are. There are some great artists having their light hidden under the Daz 3D name and I think it's time we knew who they were so we can give them the recognition and praise that their work so deserves.

    Well,

Where M6HD may not have had the expected wow factor, V6HD certainly did! Her morphs and texture really sing! Even though I'd made sure the AAL used Primitive Hitmode on the Wild Orchid Hair, it took nearly an hour and a half to complete the render.

Still, I don't mind it taking time when the results are worth it, and boy were they...

Hmm, I do wonder sometimes, G2F is far from realistic looks like V4 in term of texture set / charater it's like overexaggerating the power of their new spec.

I don't think so, I think G2F looks way better than V4, V4 took so much to get her looking good. V6HD looks great as soon as she loads.

That's what I called cheat before in a good way of course. Overall it's true that the texture looks better than V4 but in term of realism, it's like they really want and must show the realism so it's became over realistic to the point of too perfect.

I think that would depend on how she was lit and how the shaders were set up.

She has eye-shadow under her eye. The render reminds me of some advertisements that I see in the magazines in the United States.

I remembered what I wanted to dress Lana in. Here is a render for Kyoto Kid: On the left is Stephanie 5 shape with Joanie skin. On the right is Genesis basic female with Lana skin. Daz Studio and 3Delight uses 1 GB of memory.

ah.. I see seams on Joanie's skin. Looks like I need to reduce the shading rate even more. This image already took 20 minutes to render.

    Definitely more like it,

I'd use the settings I put up, but with the raytrace depth down to 2. Typical S5, always the bridesmaid....

    Ok,

Here is an HD version of that 'Coursing' render I did. I have them alongside each other in my folder and I can flip between the 2 with the image viewer and see the differences.

I have to say, the HD version does look really nice

One of these days I will try a shader rate of 0.2.

I finally fix the issue of Stephanie's boobs showing through the shirt. Here are Stephanie 5 and young teen Andrea.

Daz Studio/3Delight uses 1.1 GB of memory.

LOL! I will admit that the changes the HD makes appear subtle, but, if you look a the non HD version and the HD one in Windows Photo Viewer and flick between the two, the changes are actually a lot more major, everything is far more defined in HD.

You could have fixed S5's issue by making them smaller, the poor girl must have a bad back!

    Indeed, LOL!

I wonder if they'll make S6, I would imagine so, although S5 was a bit of a let down, none of her face morphs were what you'd call lookers! You could make really nice characters with S4's faces. Nobody has done any decent faces with G2 yet. I didn't like the look of the ethnic ones that have come out either, I'll Gen X the G1 ones when it comes out.

...yeah, Steph4 will probably be the last time she could ever be truly petite, especially with the NPMs.

Can't wait until the update for GenX comes out so I can transfer her and the NPMs to G2F.

Growing up works nice for child to teen years, but there are a lot of adult women with smaller breasts as well.

    Very true,

I think G2F has a lot more scope for creating natural looking bodies, certainly more than Gen 4 did.

...true, especially with Zev0's Growing Up morphs and Shape Shift.

I remember all the time Wolfie and I spent struggling to turn Vicky4 into a young teen. Then Steph came along with the NPMs to save the day.
