How many products are in your wishlist?

LenioTGLenioTG Posts: 2,118

I was wondering: am I the only one who fills up his wishlist like there's no tomorrow?

I just like to quickly find stuff I'm interested in when there's a sale, with Daz Deals.

Right now I'm at...1456!

I don't think I've ever had quite that many in my wishlist, but over a thousand is pretty normal for me, too... :D It fluctuates, though.

Do you remove or buy them? laugh

Basically, for many of them I'm just waiting a 0.50/2$ price tag xD

Buy most of them. Some get removed from the store. Sometimes when there's a sale, I notice I have a certain item from the sale wishlisted, and wonder why the heck I wanted that... then I remove those, but this does not happen very often.

I know it's a bad habit, but I rarely buy new items. I bought maybe two new items from the entire store (well, other than PC+ items). For the rest, I wait for a decent sale. Some items are marked as "ASAP," those I buy even when the discount is not so great, but I need the item for a project I'm doing now. Buy items at full price... I think that only happened once, when I really needed something, right at that moment, no time to wait.

991 at the moment - it's been filling up more lately as I've not had the money to spend.

Some of that is really old stuff but I could still use it.

    I don't think that's a bad habit at all!!

The ony problem with that is that you need to recall what you already have, otherwise you'll never use it.

I wait for sales too! But if I need something for a project...well, I buy it at full price at that moment, otherwise what would the function of Patreon be?

I've got a lot of old stuff too...and I should remove it!

That's because lately we can find G8 products at a good price, often the same as G3 ones :D

Currently, a little over a hundred; I tend to prune it every now and again, because if I haven't bought something after long enough, I probably didn't want/need it that much anyway.

I've just checked it again, removing around 50 products...but, actually, I'd buy all of them for 2$: poor wallet!! xD

I have 185, about to have 184 soon because of a sale. Either I'm really picky or haven't been around long-enough. O.O

"How many products are in your wishlist?"

Um, all of them.  Okay, what did I win?

3294 but it's mostly because about 10% of all new product gets added to my Wishlist everyday. It really couldn't be called a wishlist now at this point but a poor list. laugh The 1st Wishlist I of mine, made up long ago, and was accurate as a wishlist, was completed, so I will purge my existing wishlist soon.

2949 in my wishlist. The current price war has let me bring that number down quite a bit over the last 2 months. There are several hundred that I could remove as well. Old stuff that ill probably never buy.

    443.  Somehow, with all the sales, I worked it down from 340.  Wait... how is this supposed to work, again? :-D

I wishlist things that I might want, do want, and really need, so my actual 'need' list is down to about 3 items, my 'want badly' is about 8.  There's a whole lot of 'if it's cheap enough and I'm weak' left over... or if enough work gets done, and then more things will hit the 'need' list.

I erased my insanely long wishlist a couple years ago.  I'm back up to 449.  I'm waiting for a website error that slides my "Wishlist" into my "Product Library". surprise

    665 currently

Some of them are more "bookmarks" than "products i plan to order", though things can change

What feels weird, i wish your product library page could also look like wishlist page, with all those filters........

Zero, actually. Just jettisoned everything. Rarely stick to it anyway.

Currently 227, which is the highest it's been in a while.  There was a point where there was a lot more, but now I tend not to put stuff in there unless it's something I'm really serious about eventually buying or that I need to work with something else.

I really just rediscovered Daz last year after finding an old receipt for it in my file folder. I went a bit crazy at the time and i've ended up with 2235 blush

    214. But I regularly purge it.

  • McGyverMcGyver Posts: 7,097

12 items... all older items, two of them pro bundles, that I’ve been waiting forever to come on sale for what feel they are worth at this point.

Currently mid-forties - it goes up and down, but I had a purge recently when I saw wishlisted products at super-cheap prices yet still didn't feel inclined buy them - obviously I was never going to.

  • namffuaknamffuak Posts: 4,470

I'm down to 8; many moons ago, it was in the low hundreds, but a store glitch cleared it. I now have a standard methodology on keeping it low - I purge anything that has been 50% or more off twice. I figure if I pass on an item twice I just don't have the interest to really use it.

I don't wish, I buy. laugh wink Daz appreciates that.

  • I always stay below 10, I usually buy right away when I see something of interest.

  • LenioTGLenioTG Posts: 2,118

I'd like to have that money xD

If I had to buy my wishlish, I guess I'd spend around 15000$ today!

A far more useful measure would be wishlist as a percentage of total products purchased.  So say you have a product library of 4000 products,  and your wishlist is 400.  That's 10%.  Lower percentage would suggest you purchase products regularly as they become available,  a higher percentage,  migh suggest a customer who is  more patient to wait for sales and such.

    I'm at 10%
