Going with Asus Strix because it has a better warranty. Not interested in ASRock or other brands. 

All the MoBo manufacturers warranty's are pretty good. If you think you'll be keeping the rig running for 5 years or something good for you but don't count on it.

My last motherboard was pushing 10 years old and wasn't anything special. It didn't die, either, I finally upgraded and moved on. I expect the same with my current one, but I plan on upgrading much sooner. Like this year.

I mentioned buying extended warranties from EVGA earlier, MicroCenter also offers extended warranties. The purpose behind their warranty is it lets you skip the RMA process completely. Just return the item back to MicroCenter and receive a new part right there so you can get back up and running the same day. For some people who may not live near a MC store, that may make the drive worth it VS going through RMA and waiting for a replacement. Especially if use your PC to make money. However, MS's warranty is only for 2 years. Again, like I said, the real purpose behind it is to skip the lengthy RMA process most manufacturers have.

Hi guys. After 4 motherboards and 3 cpu chips the machine finally benchmarked with decent results. Changed my mind on the mother board. I made videos of the benchmarks and took some screenshots. The lower res monitors did better. The posted images are for benchmarks done on a 4k 38 inch LG monitor. 

Note: it will be interesting to see how it behaves with ray tracing.
