Invisible Renders?

Another crazy Daz Studio quirk:  I see the models in the pane, but they won't render in Iray. There must be some button I'm not ticking. Why wouldn't the models render in Iray?

    No idea why exactly, but it's definitely happened to me in DS 4.8

    Suggest turning off the computer and re-starting? Save the scene before shutting down, and upon restart, make up a quick scene of a couple of primitives to see what happens. Then try again with the first non-rendering scene.

    I think the problem may relate to having older models that aren't Iray friendly (even after applying Iray Uber shader). I got it to work by deleting an older model from the scene, then restoring it.

    Ok, I for one will keep that in mind the next time this issue pops up.
