Hi,
today I get the special offer "Make your Genesis 8 characters look even better" which offers to purchase the G8 body and head morphs for a special price, due to my already purchased G8 characters in my product list.
But I already own these, what is confirmed if I open the related links.
Looks for me as if the special offer is not reflecting on the real personal product library (purchased products) of the customer available on this platform.
So I see some potential to improve this platform.

Same here.
All of these sales seem to hint of a Genesis 9 on the horizon.
We have already been told by DAZ_Steve that Genesis 9 will not be released in 2019, and if anyone would know then DAZ_Steve wiould be the one.

Yep, a purple banner saying I don't own the products, but I own every single product on there.
Yup, rather an irritating banner. I own all but one, so I can't even get the maximum discount here.
I guess I am the only one who got the banner and doesn't have any of them--because I seldom, if ever, use G8.
Sickleyield has also posted a journal on her Deviantart web page making clear that Genesis 9 will not be coming anytime soon. Since I have yet to use Genesis 8 in anything more than a test render, I am not upset by this.

Definitely of NO use to me since I didn't even get the banner even though I 'own' all the G8 pro bundles
Perhaps you own all of the morph sets being offered too.
It does seem to hint at something. Maybe that morph brush people keep talking about on Future Daz Studio Wishlists?
I expect to see strand based hair native in Studio before I ever see a morph brush...lol. Would sure love one tho ;)

Yep, yet another person here who got the same offer, and like most of the others, I have them all except the sublime ones. Clearly whoever prepared the mail out lists for this didn't do any real qualifying on them.
Yep, pretty useless sale...at least I had something to check while I was waking up xD

By the way, congratulation to who does the sale graphics in general, they're often wonderful!
That's much better!!! If Genesis 9 comes out, it has to have serious improvement, otherwise it would just fragment the market, damaging everyone.
I got it, and I am the target audience: the person who buys G8 stuff sporadically but doesn't care enough to invest in the base morphs pack. It's a generous offer, and if they hadn't just cleaned me out with the Sanjay Bundle and a couple of other good deals, this one might have tempted me. Thanks for the offer, Daz, just not great timing.
I don't own G8s at all (except Vladimir, bought for the freebies!) so this didn't make any sense to me at all. As the OP said, not really reflective of our purchase history/habits. Which, however, I find rather reassuring... don't really need to be Daz-stalked, even if sometimes I would like a sale tailored to my peculiarities! ;-)
Glad to see I'm not alone. I got the purple banner that makes no sense. The only thing I don't own are the teeth/jaw morphs, I own ALL the other stuff. So why? I thought when you owned stuff, it didn't show up. I have the store set to 'not' show things i own. Do the banners work differently? Should I be entitled to other packs instead of these that are a waste of my time?
It’s a new trend obviously like the base , pro and starter bundles the other week many owned but everyone got the banner
maybe they are no longer using the customer database and just plonking general banners up for everyone
I was actually thrilled to see today's sale. I'd been keeping an eye on the price of the Gen 8 body morphs, and this dropped it down in the price range I was hoping for. (Plus it was a bit cheaper with the PC+ Daz Originals discount). So it worked out great for me.
Um, I mean... aren't most of these posts saying "Why am I getting this banner, there is only one item I don't own"? Well... yeah, so that one item is the one you can get on sale? I don't get what people are confused about, unless you own every item in the offer, you could see the ad. And "but I don't want the item I don't have" doesn't really work, now does it, since the store can't know that? Just close the banner if you don't want to take advantage of the offer. Really I guess they should just stop making these kinds of offers at all.
Yep! Bit of a dissapointment here too. .. Got the banner and thought "thats handy, DAZ are keeping an eye out for us 'regular' purchasers, and making sure we dont miss out" ....
It's a nice tought, and I was just thinking the customer services dept are catchig up with some nice little 'friendly' nudges for their loyal followers. The other stores (rendo etc.. even r'otica) never fail to drop me little 'gifts' at times '.. like never mising my birthday, (no sales pitches, just Happy Birthday Vinny, heres a little code to get $10.oo off your next purchase... no rush... and christmas greeting etc too. Even DA makes sure they say Happy Aniversary every year and the Birthday card ....
And then! ... I take a better look at the 'gift horse banner' from DAZ.."seems like you are missing out on....etc" - but on checking,.... I got everything offered already!.
So what 'on the face of it ' looks like the staff are looking out for us, the truth is - its just another cynical attempt to shift some slow merchandise.
Just a pity they use such 'misleading sales pitches' ... very caring .....not
Not everyone got that pro and starter bundles banner - I never got it. I looked in both my message Inbox and Exclusive Offers folders to be sure but never got it.
I think this particular "Make your Genesis 8 characters look even better" banner probably shows up for anyone who doesn't own every single morph product on the list. It showed up for me and I own all of them but the Body by Sublime one.
Well, I got the purple banner today, and used it. I got the same offer and missed it a few days ago, and the link to inbox offers did not show it. The last time it showed up, I tried to use it, but it seemed not to work, maybe because I had accidentally dismissed the banner before using it? This time, it worked. 70% off is where I start taking notice. The inbox notice is there today. I found it useful, at least this time!
