Today's sale is awesome tasty

Its been great pricing since March Madness ended ... lots of stuff for 70% off, and even more.
Broke or not, credit card full or not ..man, spend that cash ...

I have 7 items in my cart right now that total $160 for 48 ... plus there is a 10% off gift card deal .. so brings it to $43 ..
It is true though, that sooner or latter those items will go down even more via stacking, free items for bundles, etc, but anytim I can get 70% off I have to consider it highly.

also..yesterday, most got the bundle sale...Pro, Starter, or base character for way lowball ... $25 for as pro bundle ..thats killer cheap. Again, if you wait, sooner or later it might be free as an incentive..but

I am so dithering about the $30 pro bundles, or perhaps a $10 base character.  I am good at dithering.... I get a lot of practice.

me too laugh  I put stuff in and out of my cart everyday several times ... I've probsbly looked at the ever increasing catalog of stuff 10 million times. Each sale I'm like..WOW ... that that that that that and wow...

Those bundle deals are very hard to pass by. I also look at quanity of items .. 22 wiuth 2 pro bundles..7 right now for me in the cart ...same dollar amount .. BUT .. what I have in the cart are things I will use vs. half the buindle items not.  The bundles are ahrd to deal with for me...  there are a couple that i would use pretty much everything, others probably not. Also things get routine monotonous on manay bundles...every generation gets the same stuff. but I'm getting carried away. I could write a book.

Hven't seen anything on sale for more than 58% this week (except Fastgrab and the pro bundles, I suppose)... April was awesome though. :-)

right now for 48 hours ..

40% OFF OVER 2400 "BEST FIVE" FEATURED ITEMS

Get 45% OFF* the “Best Five” Featured Items when you buy any 2 of them.

Get 55% OFF* the “Best Five” Featured Items when you buy any 3 or more of them.

Get an EXTRA 20% OFF* them when you include any new release in your cart.

So I threw in a cheap PC+ item @ $2.79 ... got that extra 20% off ...  then threw the $6 PC+ coupon ... if not in PC+ it won;t be quite as good as you will need to put in a new item that pretty much over-rides that extra 20%

  • MisselthwaiteMisselthwaite Posts: 961

I always forget the PC+ items that count as new - I always look at the new releases on the page and go, 'nah.' :-P

Hmm.  Comes out to 64%... a 6% improvement. Meh. Daz has spoiled me. ;-)

Agreed, they have! Most of what is being offered goes on sale regularly for around 60-65% off, so i tend to look for the items/vendors that don't.

I also look thru the store daily and there really isn't that much that I don't have that I don't really need, so at this point I am more excited about new items more than anything else.

    This.

Plus I've put a personal moratorium on females and female stuff unless it's something I absolutely WILL use. Should save me a lot of money in the coming months :P. The sci-fi stuff always reels me in tho, even for the females....

Yeah, it is a great deal. But I'm not sure if I will take it. The month is still young. XD

I got also an offer for pro bundles, but every character I could see was also on my "already purchased" list. :(

And it bled out of the screen too. So I couldn't see any possible characters behind Stephanie 8.

Less tasty today now that DAZ has started charging sales tax. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/4566576/#Comment_4566576

Yeah, another place did that the last couple times I shopped there. I wasn't really happy, but then I knew it would just be a matter of time. Too good for certain agencies to pass up. I thought it was only supposed to be for physical goods, not digital, but apparently I was wrong. Makes it a lot more of a pain in the butt for online shops like Daz too that have to collect and send all that out.

Keep in mind that this is not just a matter of choice but a compliance.

If you're talking about me, I know that. I was saying what a PITA it's gonna be for Daz now having to deal with all that on top of everything else ;).

You can also use Tika Pro Bundle as your new item, then get the additional stacking by using the $20 discounts on select items.  A lot of the select items are also in the Top 5 sale.  So, if you get three or more plus Tika, you get a lot of items for 77% or more off.  I ended up with Tika Pro plus 26 more items for $76.  It would have been $12 less if I hadn't also added in Beautiful Brows, which didn't qualify for all the stacking.  But, I really wanted that item...So, what the heck? :)

...now if one of the offerings was Mabel, I would have gone for her. Rest of the G8 females...meh.

(and the store has just a useless search engine as well as every time you go to the store you can't comment on the forums until you refresh the page, really poor software here)

A lot of those things are former freebies... not much of a sale. :-P  I like old stuff, but that's not much of a deal.

  • Cris PalominoCris Palomino Posts: 12,730

It should be noted that products that are offfered as a freebie for a period of time does not negate them being products. Real freebies would always be freebies.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 7,958

today ..sale held ransom by having to own or buy Sanjay Pro bundle. I really dislike these sales that require a bundle for the discount. it does not give me incentive, it turns me off.

Perfectly true, and not my intent to imply!  I shall be more precise; as a continuous customer, I have most all of the former freebies on offer, and was disappointed that there wasn't more variety for the price, with the addendum that after Daz has offered all sorts of old products in a variety of bundled/super inexpensive formats, seeing more of the same content for higher prices did not elicit a squeal of glee from me :-)  To be fair, once I went through all of the pages, I was able to easily come up with 5 things I might be willing to pay that price for... in fact, I came up with 10, found myself paralyzed by indecision, and walked away to think about it, returning only to put Sanjay in my cart, then take him out... I am playing cart hokey-pokey, I think! :-D

too many sales all the time creates indicision, especially when you're on limited budget. always looking for most bang for the buck. This or that or this or that ... or maybe tomorrow ...
