Protip: if you're adding shoes to G8F, save a copy of your scene.

I was working on a scene all day, then started adding shoes and conforming them to G8F. Scene kept crashing. I added like a fourth pair of shoes and it crashed again, now it crashes when I try to open it. Silly me, EVERYONE knows not to add a pair of shoes and save over your previous save...

Warning, SHOES are highly unstable, experimental things, lol. Keep a separate save from before you started adding them. :rolleyes

Fortunately I learned a LONG time ago not to trust Daz saves, and saved all my shapes and materials as presets.

Shoes are also the one clothing item that just will not update correctly from a V4 Clone of G8F... they rip in half and stick out her, um.... knees. not sure what is up with that, but I've yet to get a shoe to "fit" on a V4 Cloned G8f.

I've never run into this - may well be related to the shoes or to some setting in the character.
