For those that want a dynamic dark theme for the web including HERE

Not sure if this is just for Chrome based browsers, you'll have to check on that but there is this FABULOUS add on that looks at the elements and just darkens the backgrounds and inverts the fonts.  It's called Sauron - Dark mode for all websites.

I'm impressed to say the least.  Even works on Fb and it's totally not killing my eyes any more.  Everything looks like it should, no recoloring images or inverting them... none of that.

Also, the offshoot of Firefox, which I found after the rewrite was slow as mud for me and then came Brave.  The first version of it was not to my liking but it's been updated fully, like version two and Brave is similar to Firefox in how fast it used to run.  I love Opera but it wasn't able to function correctly on some websites so I'm glad for this updated Brave browser

Your most welcome.  Most of the other "dark themes" addons often really mess up images, buttons and other bits... this one doesn't.  Another feature I like about it is that images have a little film over them to keep the brightness at bay but if you hover over the image it lights up so you can enjoy the full glory of it.  FUN!

I just added it ... and wow, my eyes immediately felt relief! Thank you, RAMWolff! :D I love that it has a toggle on/off function right there in the upper right corner. I makes it super convenient for when you don't want it on. :D

Yea, as I mess with the options more and more... just so good.  I turned it off for things like GMail and a few others and it seems to be remembering when to turn on and when to stay off.

Brave browser is quickly becoming my fav too but there is ONE issue that I just can't figure out how to turn off... Usually when I close tabs I use the middle button right on the tab but in Brave it just moves the browser to the next monitor... it's really weird behavior.  At first I thought it was a new Logitech thing but nope, just happens when using Brave browser.  Very strange.  I tried about:config but that defaults to chrome:config and nothing comes up so I can't get to the internal controls to see if there is something set in there that's causing this odd behavior.  If anyone has ideas or even a fix let me know!  XO

Just trying Brave browser and middle click closes the tab for me. Weird? Anyway thanks for mentioning all this, trying it all out now including Sauron smiley

Interesting.  What actually happens is that the tab, most of the time, will close but then the browser will pop over to my second monitor.  I'll middle click on the blank tab bar and it will pop back over to the main monitor.  Quite annoying to say the least!  LOL

Your most welcome by the way Sauron!  :-)

Just installed it on Opera and it works perfectly too!  I was all excited about Brave but the code needs to mature a bit more.  Opera may not support Hulu but Brave wasn't able to play some on line recordings from MixCloud which I listen too allot so that's not good either, ASIDE from that it won't play Hulu either so it was back to using Opera!
