Strange mouse behavior in DAZ

I recently updated to DS 4.11.0.236 Beta  Pro Edition (64-bit) and now I am having issues with my mouse working correctly. I will be working on a scene then I start hearing the alarm that windows gives when a USB device is disconnected, the someties the mouse's arrow icon disappears while the mouse itself keeps functioning, or I keep hearing that alarm and the mouse keeps working fine. Daz Studio is the only program  on my compter that behaves this way. Anybody have an idea what might cause this?

This is a longknown bug that I wish they'd fix.  There are some work-arounds, though, discussed in this thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/152156/jumping-viewport-problem-is-driving-me-insane-edit-solved-fix-on-page-1/p1 ; The easiest quick fix that I've found is this one:  As you noted, the mouse still highlights anything it's over, it's just not displaying the icon.  However, if you move the mouse until you have it located so that it highlights the render settings next to the render cube in your main window, then click it a few times, the mouse icon will usually reappear.

edit - the workaroud only fixes the vanishing cursor issue. for the alarm issue, some people swear that changing mouses or mouse imports has fixed the problem.
