Is anyone else having issues getting all items from the pro bundle to install? Traditional outfit, sweater vest, Show down, and the texture set for showdown all refuse from Dazstudio. I love this bundle and was lookingforward word to finally playing with it this weekend, but getting frustrated with it not wanting to install everything.

Show down isn't installing for me either, through Connect. Which kinda pisses me off since I don't use DIM anymore. Hoping they will eventually fix it.. maybe

My first render with Mr Woo (out of the box, but with the low translucency setting)

Excellent work.  From the expression, I imagine he is about to say something biting to a student.

I bought the pro bundle on the day of release, but work commitments have stopped me from trying him out until this morning.  What an excellent figure.

Wow!! Awesome! Is that his default skin settings or did you do any tweaking to it?

Thank you!  I used the Translucency Low setting, then added the Altern8 Edward 8 No Maps.  Even then, the skin still looked a little reddish under the HDRI light I was using, so I had to do some colour changes in Photoshop.

Mr Woo only up for five days? Wow, I think that's the shortest sale for a new DO figure that I can recall seeing. I was on the fence about the pro bundle and trying to decide - I guess I waited too long. lol Oh well, as they say "there's always another sale". :) Maybe I'll get his pro bundle later then.

I know the feeling :( Guess waiting for payday is out. No wonder males don't sell. Daz gives the females every opportunity but the males they rip off the sale page in half the time.

As I mentioned in the "sales" thread, the Mr Woo offer included additional discounts on the Related Madness section of March Madness. With March Madness over, the original sales page would become false advertising, so they couldn't leave it up as is. Maybe if we ask real nice, Daz will remove references to MM and put the page back up. It worked with Edward 8 last year…!

I for one will just save it for later.

I was worried Mr. Woo's sale would end before this Friday because he came out at the end of March madness.  So I barrowed $40 to pick him up and will pay my mom back on payday. There was a pro bundle that came out either last year's March madness or the September sale that was exactly 1 week instead of the full 2 weeks because it was the end of a major sale event. I'd been  on the fence for that one and missed out. :( Now I can't rememember what it was.

Oh, that would be awesome! Please Daz?

  • doesn't this happen with most big sales though? A DO character comes out near the end usually the males and end up getting very short sale promotions didn't that happen with a few of the males? The ladies when released if during the big sales come out at thestart so they get longer run but the boys get the tail end of the sale and hardly get a chance

Oh cool! I'm happy to hear you used Altern8 - if you get redness next time try one of the lower "Transmitted Measurement Distance" settings (the bottom of the skin settings folder), or maybe a lower Translucency setting, you could also test out the different SSS Tint colors to see if that helps. :) I think you did a great job on him - he looks fantastic!

Thank you, and I love your product. I'll give your suggestion a try.

Just wanted to ask if anyone has managed to install the Show Down outfit through Connect yet? (Only using Connect that is). I really like the outfit but it is annoying that it can't be installed for me yet

I had to use DIM, as far as I know so has everyone else. But I think there was a trouble ticket put in and enought time has past that they should have the bugs fixed now. when was the last time you tried?

A couple of quick pictures with no post work. The first is Mrs. Chow and Mr. Woo doing their own unique method of keeping romance going strong.

The second is Kagiso with Woo dialed in at 50%. Trying to play around and use as many items from my last two perchases as possible.

I love Mr. Woo but for some reason I'm unable to change the material color on his eyebrows. I want to have them white to match a white beard/moustach but can't get any of the presets to work. I've tried installing/reinstalling. Any help would be appreciated.

I just tried and the eyebrows went white.

    I did this:

    • Load Mr Woo
    • Change mat to the no eyebrow one to remove his drawn on eyebrows
    • Load the separate eyebrows
    • Select eyebrows
    • Click on mat for white eyebrows

Working for both types of texture.
