Export settings to Substance Painter?

Are these the correct settings to export a Genesis 8 figure from Studio to Substance Painter? All of a sudden, there's awful lag in my Substance Painter viewport that I never had before, and I can't figure out what's causing it. Only things that might have changed are these settings (I don't think I've exported a G8 figure before, just G3) and my updated nVidia drivers.

Figure was exported at Base resolution and default Subd 1, lag is the same for both. Thanks for any advice.

It's been a while, but I recall there's a lengthy video series in the store describing how to do it, since it's really complicated to convert the surfaces into the correct format for Substance, etc (PBR Metal Rough or whatever...). Though that may be outdated info, and my memory is kinda sketchy on that.

Thanks, although my question isn't about materials. The mesh itself is slowing down everything, so I wanted to check and make sure the export settings are correct.

Haven't tried this myself but I thought exports for this kind of purpose needed base resolution and sub-d of zero (instead of the '1' that you said you're using).

(Also - why write groups using 'surface names' instead of 'existing groups'? The 'write surfaces' part should give you the surfaces you need in Substance Painter)

Also also, since I don't know - what does 'collapse UV-tiles' do? (Is that for UVW mapped things that don't play well in all software?)

(Sorry for more questions than answers)

I still can't find an answer to this. I tried what Silent Winter said and a bunch of other combinations and the figure either loads with a single UV template or it slows to a crawl. I know a bunch of PAs use Substance Painter (the old 'exploding' texture map borders give you away, haha), so could one of you please chime in and help if you happen to see this? Thanks in advance.

Don't have Substance Painter (have their Bitmap2Material though), but have another 3rd party app developed by Oliver Hotz who works a lot on creating bridges between it & a number of other tools.

For your speed issue, & is a total guess but try unchecking the collapse UV's.

In any case, you won't get full PBR texturing out of DAZ's exporter.
