ISO Free Royalty free music for YouTube videos created with DS

I am thinking of getting into animation with DS.  Creating the animation is another topic for another time, but first I want to find some free royalty free music to use create with the videos.  I want instrumental music that I can use on YouTube.

    YouTube itself used to offer music in its video editor. Don't they have them anymore?

    Okay related question, I am using Adobe Audition and I am trying to figure out how to add speech to the music I found.  How do I do that?

    Not familiar with Audition but generally speaking you want to create a second track with the vocals and then mix them together to create the final track.

    Not free, but I have a monthly subscription to Digital Juice, which has tons of quality, royalty-free music, graphic content galore, video content, fonts, and much much more. I pay $9.95 a month - but I signed on years ago and am a "Founding Member," so I'm not sure what the cost is for newbies. FWIW, DJ has been extremely useful for me.

    Wonder how easy it is to put that music and the mp3 music I bought from Amazon onto the MP3 player my boy friend gave me for my birthday.  I am not near my computer right now but I think it will be easy to figure out.  I hope.

    In my day, I made hundreds of YouTube videos. I've since retired. I downloaded a bunch of royalty-free music from YouTube maybe 5 years ago. I've saved it all. Maybe they still offer it?!

    If you ask you may get permission to use copyrighted tracks. Also, many times a content ID will only claim the video to monetize it, allowing the video to stay up, and that is not a strike. But it depends on who the copyright holder is.
