Spot render animations

Is there any functionality for Daz Studio so I can spot render animations? For example, if I want to have a character in a scene wave her hand, but capture the whole scene, is there any way of generating an image series spot render so I don't have to re-render the same background over and over?

Not as far as I know. It would be very useful. This feature has been requested before but is not yet available (afaik).
