Huh. Okay, this is a possibility. Kinda neat that the sale page says she's free. Not so in the cart, but it was a fun thought for a second.

Oh my gosh I love her.
Huh. Certainly unexpected.
Also unexpected: her pro bundle appears, for the moment, to have only 10 items, including her.
I haven't decided if the wrinkles look a bit strong or if I just need to take a little more time with it... but this is one of the first pro bundles in a while (if ever?) where I personally really like every clothing item included and can see myself using them. Usually there are a couple which just aren't my style. I was hoping for a male set (or Cat), but this is pretty nice.
Now, do I gamble on holding off to buy it until the last possible minute?

When folks start picking this up, if someone has a moment, are the stitches and the piping on the Cheongsam a separate material zone? I would love if I could easily swap out tiled textures for the main part of the outfit.
I'm liking this character and pretty much all of her Pro bundle. BUT I'm really hesitant to buy her after the way Bridgette was marketed. I'm thinking maybe I should wait for a better deal when the $50 off items may be cheaper (so I can get more) and there are better items in the extra 40% off related items. Unfortunately the Nix and Tasha bundles I really wanted (but couldn't get because I'd already purchased Birgette 8 Pro) have now been removed from the related items.
The piping isn't separate, but there are two different material zones for the closures as well as one for the pearl buttons.

Ditto. Older characters have really proved to be the strong suit of the G8s and a Mr. Chow to go with the Mrs. would be great.

Definitely, the enduring legacy of Genesis 8 is going to be the characterful mature figures along with OIlie and Edie (IMO at least).
I really love her and know I will end up with her eventually.
The worry now is when to buy.
Especially as the other Pro bundles aren't in the offer like they were yesterday.
And there are no utilities around today... again these were added later on in the Bridget deal.

Nice. I think the hairstyles aren’t really meshing with her look to me in some promos but I know that’s a matter if taste.
I was on the fence about this one as I don't normally render older characters but after looking at Zhirong I may have to change that.

Now _this_ is what I'm talking about! This is the kind of stuff I like to see -and support-. Practical, age-appropriate clothing and items, amazing-looking PA characters that don't turn the character into a Caucasian character with super vague ethnic attributes, and the add-ons are perfect compliments: ChiOni is awesome.
I'm an overly critical grump, especially with how jaded the Genesis 8 base character line has left me (barring the exceptions of Floyd/Mabel and Edie/Ollie), but I'll give credit where credit is due: this is the first Pro Bundle in a long time that's left me genuinely wowed and searching for pennies in my car.
Now... any chance of a Mr. Chow sometime in April? ;)
