Help With Instructions for These Morphs/Mats

I found this set on one of the sites listed in our Freebies forum. It's Morphs and Mats for various wild canid species, for the old (Poser) Wolf sold here, which I own. I am not sure exactly how to carry out the instructions, which are listed on the webpage above. I've never made or modified UVs or worked with software like UVMapper.

I know the artist says on the page that the set wasn't tested in DS, and she's had problems with getting mats to work in DS before, but I am pretty sure I can use them in DS4.9. I just used some of her MilHorse Maps & Morphs in last month's Freebie Challenge with no problems.
