Extreme shader weirdness and can't figure out why 4.11

PLEASE I hope someone can help with this because I'm ready to tear all my hair out.
These are Darius' textures on G3M, exported to to Base Male map uvs (so I can use the materials on G8M. I'm converting them to Darius 8's shader by replacing all Darius 8 maps with Darius 7's. I've made custom SSS maps.
For whatever reason, the legs are rendering white, like there's no diffuse map there, but there is. I've also copied and pasted the toenails shader to the legs shader just to make sure because the toenails are fine as you can see in the image. I am completely stumped. I SWEAR to you that both the leg and toenail shaders are the same except for the dual lobe specular settings and translucency settings, which are the same as the rest of the skin for the legs. I have no earthly idea what could be causing this. I even have hidden items showing and both shaders are exactly the flippin' same.
I've even closed DS and rebooted just to make sure there wasn't anything wonky sticking in a clipboard somewhere. I think this is the most frustrated DS has ever made me. LOL
Any enlightenment would be greatly appreciated.

Solved my own problem by opening the legs Darius 7 Base Male uv texture map in Photoshop and resaving. Why that should work is beyond me, when it was already working on the toenails, but oh well.
FWIW, I've had this happen to Raoul's texture maps too and I know they're all good.

It might have been the gamma setting for the texture.
That was exactly it. I had heard about it before but had never run across it until now. It never occurred to me that could be it either.
Thanks so much! It was driving me batty! LOL
