Shopping shows items, when I go there, it says it's empty

Hi there, I recently received an offer for free stuff.  I followed the link in the email and selected stuff.  But I wasn't logged in.  I realized I wasn't looged in and I logged in.  Then it said I had items in the cart.  I go to the cart, it says it's empty.  No amount of history clearing, cookied clearning puts the cart back to zero.  It does not allow e to select the items I previously select.  How can I empty the cart?  Any info appreciated, thanks.

    Have you tried adding an item to the cart, then emptying it?

    I've had this happen and it will always happen if you place things in the cart and then log in. It will clear itself eventually. Also, I used a different browser and cleared it once before. 

    Logging out let me remove the items btw, might work for you.
