Help ! Daz3d to cinema 4d hair problem !

i'm new to daz3d so can't figure out solution ! i'm exporting daz model with clothings and hair and importing into cinema 4d with octane render engine but the hair aren't looking like real ones. they are kinda looking like cartoon hair and i want kind of real hair which daz3d iray is previewing. serached on the internet but didn't find the solution. if anyone knows the solution then help me ! i exported daz3d to fbx and imported that into cinema 4d. attaching screenshot

    It looks like the Alpha maps for the hair (and eyelashes) has been misplaced during import. 

    In conventional Cinema materials they get put into the Transparency channel instead of the Alpha channel. I just cut and paste the path from there to the Alpha channel. You'll probably find the same thing going on in the Octane materials. You should check this for all materials which might be using an alpha map, it also may be the answer to the pupil/cornea problem you've got.

    You need to adjust the materials. FBX just transfers a view maps.
    You need to assign the transmap, bump map, normal map, specularity map and so on. This is all lost unfortunately.
    This will also solve the problems with the lashes.

  • i tried manuallyassigning the texture but that's not helping ! maybe i'm doing wrong ! one more thing, there are no bump, spec, normal map in the folder. if anyone is willing to help in a little bit detailed way, that'll be very helpful ! i'm noob to software so can't help it ! don't know about alpha and trans map ! sorry for bothering again !
