Simulation issues

When I start the simulation all objects includign the walls and the ceiling move to the center and fall down. Every chair and book moves to the middle of the scene. How to turn of simulation for certain objects. I turned of visibility in simulation for them.

The items probably don't have their current position memorised, by default Simulation is set to start from memorised pose. You can memorise the stuff you don't want moving by selecting it all, then going to Edit>Figure(Or Object)>Memorise>Memorise Selected Node(s).
