Correctives morphs for Leaft Collar and Left Shoulder Bend

I made two corrective morphs for:

- pJCMCollarUp_55_L for Left Collar

- pJCMShldrUp_90_L for Left Shoulder Bend

But when I bend Leaft Collar=55 and Left Shoulder Bend=90 simultaneously, then a bad deformation occurs:

Can this be fixed?

  • The usual method would be to hae another corrective moprh, and when setting it up - if you use ERC Freeze - use the Attenuate By option to make it dependent on both bends (or drive it from the JCMs themselves).

  • I see that other authors still use CTRLMD type of morph. Sample:

    lCollar_CTRLMD_N_YRotate_n15.dsf
    lCollar_CTRLMD_N_ZRotate_45.dsf
    lShldrBend_CTRLMD_N_YRotate_n70.dsf
    lShldrBend_CTRLMD_N_ZRotate_87_803.dsf
    rCollar_CTRLMD_N_YRotate_15.dsf
    rCollar_CTRLMD_N_ZRotate_n45.dsf
    rShldrBend_CTRLMD_N_YRotate_70.dsf
    rShldrBend_CTRLMD_N_ZRotate_n87_803.dsf

    Maybe this can help me?

  • Hello,

You can combine many morphs in different ways, particularly with the ERC Keyed method. As suggest by Richard,  a third JCM moph that corrects the bad deformation.of previous morphs is the solution. But, the best is to find the origin of the bad deformation. It is difficult to suggest a solution because we don't know what is the effect of the morphs from the images that you provide. The CTRLMD morphs use by other creators are generally corrective morphs same as your morphs.

If you are not familiar with ERC coding of the Attenuate option, you can take a look at my tutorial at:

     Hi Richard

Where could I learn how to do that?
