Love my Camel, but...

Love my new Camel but how do you pose the reins?

When you use anything other than the just standing pose the reins sit halfway through the neck or something equaly strange.

I'm going to be animating my Camel and for some bizare reason the whole saddle, bit & reins look to be one model?

This makes my (expensive) camel utterly usless for animation and doesnt work for half of its own supplied poses?

Could the reins be made a seperate and segmented so as to be posable/animatable or at the least removable?

Dont get me wrong, its a good camel, but!

  • Is this a Daz Camel? Can you give the URL? Is this from another site? More information is needed, please.

If you mean https://www.daz3d.com/my-camel-camelia-hd you can find a couple of adjustment morphs for the reins by selecting 'CameliaSaddle' in the 'Scene' pane, then look for 'Morphs' in the 'Parameters' pane. If they are not good enough for your animations, you could try hiding the reins and substituting something else, like an easypose rope, a dForce rope or something else...Maybe?

As for the old Daz Camel, I show it as Product ID 325, but can't find it in the store. It did not come with reins, if I remember correctly.

Yeah,  it was very old, and is no longer in the store.  Blurb in the product library says "One of the very original DAZ models."
