Is there a page somewhere here in the forums that has links to companies that produce DAZ/Poser compatible characters? Not having a lot of luck on my own.

 

Specifically looking for a link to ID. It's been a long time since I ordered from them and I thought I'd take a look. 

 

At this point, I'm not even sure what their actual name was. Are they still in business?

Are you looking for a stand alone figure or addon characters for existing figures such as V4, genesis, etc?. What kind of character are you looking for as it would help in narrowing the field.

Since DAZ is a business there won't be a list per say anywhere in the forums as these would be competitors places and it wouldn't be good buisness to link users to other marketplaces.

For addons for DS and poser there are a few places such as Hivewire, CGBytes, renderotica, renderosity, Xurge3D, etc.

confused by "ID"    did you mean Inane Glory,  who sometimes has products with the prefix IDG

I suspect the ID refers to illusion designs. They did a lot of generation 3 and 4 characters (particularly V3). Just Google for the website, although when I went there just now, only the front page was working.

Illusion Designs was the one!

I kinda wonderd about ads for other sites here on DAZ.

I can recall ID producing G2 characters, and wonderd if they were producing G3 characters.
