Is there a simple way to scale a shader?

Hello All!

I'm back in Carrara and I've always wondered if there is a simple way to scale a shader without tweeking individual parameters.

Example I am modeling something about 3 inches by two inches. If I choose the cast iron shader it might work on a larger object that was 2 feet by 3 feet

but the texture detail is too large for a small object. Is there a simple way. This of course happens with something like wood. A small wood box vs a wood floor.

I've always been able to get what I want by multiplying texture maps etc but just wondered if there was a global easier way.
