"Locked" Surfaces?

I had several surfaces selected and decided to view the Geometry Editor to see what it offers. I accidentally "locked" the selected surfaces. I can look at these surfaces in the scene and viewport, but cannot pick them using the Surface Selection Tool.

Any help is much appreciated! I've spent a couple of hours into trying to figure out how to undo this. Slightly frustrated. :)

  • I'm working with an scene asset that has on the wall four surfaces that appear to be the same geometry. https://i.imgur.com/MBrLrss.jpg Is there a way in Daz to duplicate and move these?

  • I'm not sure what you mean - you could use the Geometry Editor to select a wall and assign it to a new Surface if you wanted independent settings for it.

Merged threads to avoid confusion, since they are on the same operation.

What do you mean by locked? That's an option when weight editing, and should be undoable from the right-click menu, but it doesn't have any other significance as far as I know.

  • Thanks, all. I found them in the Surfaces menu after select the object in the Scene.
