DAZ resource consumption?

Hi -

Two questions:

- Why does Windows resource manager show DAZ as consuming gobs of processing (CPU) resources when it's just sitting there with a scene, but is otherwise idle (not rendering)?

- Why, when using the Aux Viewport, does DAZ insist on rendering props and images that have been changed or removed from the scene? It seems to sometimes render from memory. I came back the following morning, without having restarted DAZ, and all was well.
