Use DIM to identify content by program? (in this case Bryce) - Solved
Can DIM identify content by program after it has been installed if not correctly segregated during installation?
Having trouble with my accumulated content. Immediate issue is a desire to uninstall and reinstall content for Bryce, but the issue is more broad (eg., if I ever wanted to repeat the exercise for Carrara). I'm not sure that all Daz store content for Bryce has Bryce in the title. Some does, like this one that I own. https://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-1-pro-environments-inclement-weather. However, some does not, such as this one.

I am having trouble locating my purchased Bryce content. From within Bryce, I'm not sure where to look when menus prompt me to find my stuff. In addition, Bryce runs but my bridge from Studio to Bryce is not working. So, I am going to uninstall and reinstall Bryce. While I'm at it, I'd also like to uninstall and reinstall my Bryce-related content to a dedicated folder to make it easier to find from within Bryce. I know DIM can have separate installation areas and am in the process of executing this plan. However, I need to identify the stuff previously installed in the great big pot.
Mods - please don't move me to the Bryce forum. I have asked a related question there, but this is a DIM question, because the same issues apply to Carrara (or Poser if there are Poser cloth room or dynamic hair products).

look for *.obp*.br5 6 7 etc
Thanks! Interesting solution.
I am still interested in my original question. Can DIM identify? Would save a couple steps compared to "Grab Everything"
OK - I see that DIM's drop down menu at the top of the installed products list does have an option to select rows "tagged Bryce" or whatever.
DIM does have the ability to search installed products for files, which could include a search for any name with a given extension http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/install_manager/referenceguide/interface/filter_field/advanced_filtering#file The docs do, however, warn that it will be slow with much installed content.
