Today's sale requirements misleading

its says but a "new release" must be over $5 .... it does not work with any new release other than TODAY'S new releases. 
but, it does not say that at all anywhere.


I put 2 NEW RELEASES in my cart ..no discounts. 
I put todays new lreases in my cart ...discount.

    Usually when it says "a new release" it means only those from this page (especially when there's a section called "new releases" on the page), otherwise it says "any new release".

    I was able to unlock the discounty with Vivy, which is a new release, but not from today.

    Actually,  It seems to work with new releases that meet the qualifier of being over $5

    Nope.  PC+ items at $6 and DO items, at around $7.50, don't trigger it either.  You need an independent item.  The cheapest for those looks to be $10.47, so while the sale looks great in theory, you've got a $21 buy-in before it gets good.

    The new items on the page with Golem work, but some of the ones on the main page don't. Very confusing. Also, do they mean $5.00 combined or EACH?

    each item to qualify for discount has to be at least $5. I tried PC+ stuff and it wouldn;t work. i tried other stuff and it wouldn;t work. But now I have stuff from 2 days ago, and it works, but the cost for total both is $19.95 ... then I have 5 FREE V4 items .. which I had a hard term to put in cart as itsw all stuff I've passed on for 10 years or something. 

    Then when you get your discounts for the rest, it starts adding up in cost .... obviously ... interesting not one thing in my wishlist are on sale for this.

    I had real issues finding 5 V4 items that looked even remotely usable. Only reason I went with it was that I was already buying 1 new release for yesterdays sale. A second one to get 3 maybe usable V4 items + a $1 G3 top that looked usable seemed reasonable long enough for me to checkout. Not sure it really made sense now that I am typing this though.

    I believe I figured it out. The $5.00 minimum is incorrect. The actual minimum is $10.00 per item. Then it seems to work with any new release.

    Yep, just tested this out and it works that way, very strange.

    so double down on the misleading .. probably unintentional as a lot of sales are wonky

    although i have one @ $11 and another @ $8 and "I am getting the discounts.. both are from yesterday.///  not sure I'm buying the stuff or not. 
    And as usual, when the free stuff is in the cart, neither of the PC+ coupons work right.  so now I'm debating just to forego the Free stuff and use the coupon on something I actually would use.

    I agree. This sale has some BIG issues. Some items work, others do not, even though both are listed as "new". I have tried and tried to figure it out.  If I add "its Magic" or "Speed Craft" by themselves they work (both over $5). Togather its a no go?? I have no idea, think I am just going to set this one out. Also as a side note is it too much to ask for a (advanced) sort by price range feature in 2019??
