Gift Card... who really gave a gift to somebody else ?

Hi,

I'm curious, is there somebody who doesn't use it to obtain Store Credits for himself/herself ?

    I've sent one to someone else as well.  And have been on the receiving end.  MInd you, that's a tiny, tiny percentage of the huge number of the GCs I've bought over the years, but it does happen.

    Once or twice, my "mentor" in this hobby has given me gift cards here as presents.

    You can have the certificate made out to your name and email. Then when you get the redemption code send the code to them (PM, Snail mail or whatever) instead of redeeming it

    You can give them the code by PM after emailing it to yourself, don't think there are any issues with that.

    I simply asked the recipient for their email address through a PM prior to buying the GC. Not likely they would refuse the request.

    I just passed on the code in most cases too, did email one but he got the wrong code and it was a mess I had to fix up, learned afterwards not to

    I do occasionally give gift cards to others. But I'm more likely to buy a gift item at rendo, since I can buy a specific thing.

    I really think Daz should have a way to automatically add store credit to your own account if you are purchasing it for yourself. The whole email system is so glitchy. It would make it sooo much easier!

    Isn't it fixed ?

    I mean this time I received 1 email with the right code.
