A not very merry Christmas Living Room

I am going nuts trying to render decent images.  I can only get this:

But, I can't get this...

What am I doing wrong?

The materials are all Iray only, and renders like the promo with no alterations. Yours looks like a 3DL render with the headlamp on. You need to change the render engine to NVIDIA Iray (and turn off the headlamp).

Yes, you're probably realizing a 3Delight render, while the promo uses Photorealistic Iray! ^^

You can change that in the "Render Settings" tab!
