the Package includes two texture sets each in multiple resolutions for Close, Medium, and distant use, as well as supporting both 3Delight and Iray, and is of course fully Poseable.

Hey all. Glad you like, and glad to be back.

this was the first project where I used 3D Coat pretty much exclusively for texturing, and it was so much fun, brings me back to my days of airbrushing, and painting with watercolors.

Let me ask you folks, does the multiple Mat Resolution influence your purchase decision at all, is it a valuable option?

what about the Wing Blur effect, to me it's a shame to hide those beutiful wings in my renders but they generally are pretty much invisible to the eye when they're beating in the real world. does the wing blur prop provide that effect to you?

Yes! I'm glad to have multiple Mat Resolutions readily available upon purchase. But honestly, your dragonfly looks so good that I had to buy it regardless of extras. And the wing blur effect is almost as essential as propeller blur, though few give it to us. I hate unnecessary post-production.

However, it would be so nice if everyone gave low and high resolution materials just to make huge scenes quicker to set up.

It's an absolutely gorgeous dragonfly, and I love the cute little saddle.  But to be honest, I'm planning to get it (when money isn't so tight) mainly because of the wing blur.  There have been so many times I wished I had something like that for my fairies or hummingbirds!  So yes, I'm very glad you included it ^_^

And of course, I wouldn't be able to use it at all if 3DL wasn't supported, as that doesn't look like something that would easily convert.  Thanks so much for not forgetting those of us whose computers don't like Iray!

Yeah, I really wish more people did wing/propeller blur!
