Problem scaling assets down to size

I purchased the Confluence Apartment and have been unable to scale individual items down to the size of an actor. Typically, when I import .obj files I can use scaling to increase the decrease the size of the model to fit, but in this case, nothing seems to work! I've tried using the over-all scaling and axis scaling down to -50,000 and I still cannot get individual assets anywhere near the size of the model. Can anyone provide a bit of guidance? Thanks, in advance.

This https://www.daz3d.com/the-confluence-apartment ? I suspect it's a series of props, rather than a single figure, so depending on how they are set -up you may need to select all of the top-level objects rather than scaling a single entity.
