Using drawings from products in art teaching

Often I do use Poser models for my illustrations and artworks. I render the models in Poser and then draw or paint them in an artwork, using the rendered poser model as reference. Recently I've started to teach art classes (online and offline). I'd love to use some of my poser content in these art classes as a reference. I would firstly draw or paint a scene that incorporates some poser content I've rendered. That drawn or painted artwork would then be used by students as a reference to learn drawing techniques/methods. Under the DAZ license would this be allowed?

Yes that's a perfectly legitimate usage.
Almost goes back to the very beginnings and the first edition of Poser, whcih was actually designed for Art Students to learn to paint people when they couldn't afford a real life model.
Sorry for adding some thoughts (not on actual question):
I was under impression that DAZ3D/Poser as reference for drawing would still be a bit "unwelcome" on academic drawing course due to how 1) there are still things to be improved in regards to muscle tension of body, pose naturalness etc. etc. 2) as i remember, most teachers are against "drawing from photos or renders" as they want students to percept "3d" as it is, and not from display or print. BUT at same time for sketches, quick etudes, etc. it's great tool... and daz/poser figure stays still and in any pose without talking to students about random stuff haha
Thanks, I thought so as well, but better ask before putting a lot of work into something that can't be used in the end.
If you do the pure art form, then yes teachers still do have this mentality, but a lot is changing. I'm teaching more along the lines of illustration where there's a lot more freedom. If they want the pure artform, then they have to chose a different course :) My course is more on ink and illustration, more of a follow up course. Since I have a modelling and content creation background I'd figure why not make use of my own work and that what others have created?
I see, thanks for elaboration on subject. Indeed, many "illustration" artists nowodays use daz, for example, as reference tool. And it's great to use something you are comfortable with in a way some may not expect.
So true!
