Odd, lol- it’s AWFUL. Like in cringe.
That's partly because most of CP's animal models are old as crap-- originally made in the P4 era.

Maybe Adamthewaites will see this topic and make a super cheapo one for you on Mostdigitalcreations. He does have a cheapo ferret model, although I think it's a static prop (can't recall for sure) That's far better than nothing (and not to knock on Adamthewaites' free animal models-- they're cheapo but still good, and some of my favorite MostDigitalCreations freebies) Or maybe he already did make a kangaroo freebie-- I can't recall.

Racoons are cute to look at, but they are probably the meanest of the woodland critters that have worked their way into the suburbs. You do *not* want them around your pets.
Or period. Annoying garbage-munchers, plus they'll nibble on your garden fruits and grains.

Nope. They may be mean BUT possums are meaner. I know we have both living in the woods in back of our house.
Possums suck too, but I've never had a problem with them attacking pets or me (and they're incredibly easy to scare away with a stamping foot or beating a large stick or pole on the ground) Granted, I've never messed with racoons-- I think they may be more skittish though when they're not diving into garbage cans-- I've very rarely encountered them when I'm outside at night-- they might be more skittish.
OTOH, I think it also depends on personality. We once has this one annoying possum that I encounted many nights in the front yard (I hunt earwigs and slugs at night) However, it had a very mellow and docile personality. It would freeze up or barely regard me when I inadvertently got close to it, and when I stamped my foot, it took on this "tensed shoulders and sunken head" look you see in dogs when they get scolded-- it was actually a tad cute.

There is a Weasel Family project under development: I'm still working on the base mesh as I'm not satisfied with it yet.
This one is a test render of a raccoon but, as I said, still need to work some more on it before it's good to go.

The weasel family sounds great. Lots of critters in that spectrum, and most of them would be very welcome in most runtimes. Certainly any runtimes which get plundered for setting up forest scenes (although rather a lot of those critters are seen pretty often in residential areas these days). Raccoons, skunks, badgers, weasels, ferrets. mongoose (mongeese?) the whole boiling. One at a time of course, I'm sure.

The Eastern Wallaroo ( a relative to both Kangaroos and Wallabies ) is commonly called the Euro, this gave me a chuckle when many European nations adopted the Euro as their currency

...we need a new small cat.

...and fish, more fish. Not tropical ones either but varieties like Pike, Trout, Perch, Salmon, Catfish, Sturgeon, Tuna, etc...

Someone also has to take over for Ken so we can have Birds again as well.
