Lovable bathroom is missing something rather important...

...or is no one else bothered by the fact that there's no seat on the toilet?  surprise

It looks like they included the necessary holes for mounting a seat, just no clearance between the lid and the bowl to accommodate one.

There seems to be no water in the bowl either.  Which could indicate a larger issue with the plumbing than having to sit on the rim or hover in mid air.  When you call the plumber to fix the water I guess s/he might fix a seat for you .

The flaws are what make it lovable. It's cute.

  • At least there is a toilet. There are a couple of bathrooms without one as well as apartments without bathrooms at all. You have to wonder about the PA who make those...

Its looks like a Bidet or baday  ..

it s a French toilet that washes your butt instead of having to using paper to wipe it.

I thought it did look remarkably uncomfortable and required a suitably shaped body. Twiggy might struggle (even today).

But I just bought something with a really weird omission:

Nothing to do with the creature, but gets me every time.

That particular bidet won't hold much poop at all... You will be rotating stock often.

Bidets are not supposed to hold poop.   They are for washing after you have used the loo   How to Use a Bidet

Edit to add  Personally I think my cats would get more use out of onthan I would,  they look to be ideal cat size for sitting in and suoervising supervising the human using the toilet and/or bath/shower.

So that’s what they are for... I’ve always thought they were really low drinking fountains... which is okay I guess, because for years I’ve been washing my bum in the regular height drinking fountains... I always wondered why the bum washers were so out in the open... this explains all the shocked looks I used to get.

It's not a bidet.  Bidets have both an input and an output and there's no room on any side for a retractable wand like Japanese toilet/bidet combos have.  Moreover, The two holes at the top back rim of the bowl and the hollowness of the bowl cover would seem to indicate that at some point there was SUPPOSED to be a seat attached, but apparently it was ommitted. Maybe the bathroom's owner's mother in law was coming to visit and he didn't want to encourage her to stay (and yes, definitely a he, as I can't imagine any woman making this ommission.)  As it turns out, I have another product by the same vendor, the Girls Dorm room, and it uses the exact same toilet... except the GDR version had the lid fused on.  Hide the geometry of the top, however, and it's identical inside to this one... which brings up the question as to whether there's a complete version of the toilet out there somewhere. (The logistics of the tank are really weird too... How would a plumber access it without dissassembling the sink?)

Not at all if the toilet is as uncomfortable as this!  ;)  That said, there are "sitting on the throne" poses for sale in the DAZ store for exactly that, as in https://www.daz3d.com/z-shower-and-lavatory-environment ; so it's clearly not completely uncommon.

Bidet.  Much more civilized than wiping poop from your skin with crinkly paper.  Would you put up with that on any other part of your body?  Here let me shake your hand I just wiped poop from my hands with crinkly paper. frown

Unfortunately most Americans just see it as a too low drinking fountain.  Ewwwww. surprise  Then again, some people are easily confused in foreign countries. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InR7tip2Izk

usually a bidet goes side by side with a regular toilet bowl and so even though i wanted to get this product, I couldn't because of that missing details.  It is obviously not a bidet since it is missing the features a bidet would normally have.  So what exactly was the artist thinking of when they made this?

Yea the toilet is pretty disappointing on that particular set. In addition to the lack of seat it looks pretty tacked on. Like he designed the room and went "wait a minute...I need a toilet". Shame since I generally like the Tesla3dcorp releases. Probably still going to buy it and just use a different toilet.

I prefer the bidet wands attached to standard American toilets (so in another words like those in India when I visited) that are similar to the spray hoses that attach to kitchen sinks.

The biggest problem is that even with a seat there is no leg room to the side of the toilet!

This is obviously meant for British royalty only. They, apocryphally, have their own toilet seats with them to use whever they go :)

My wife and I often joke and comment on wanting to have a BM BEFORE our morning shower, and lament when that didn't happen (or 'I just showered and NOW I have to go? DANG IT')

When I was a kid, I'd occasionally visit my grandmother in Puerto Rico, and she had a bidet. I thought it was the most AWESOME THING EVER; there's nothing that beats it for being COMPLETELY CLEAN.

I honestly wish bidets were a thing in the US, they are great.

    TMI, you're welcome!

You can upgrade your toilet with a little shower thingy. Makes a lot of sense when you think about it angel

Crinkly paper? Maybe at the cheap gas station restroom. We have very soft, splinter free toilet papers today.

My wife just mentioned that, Bluejaunte! Seriously thinking about it.

For master bathroom, though; I can only imagine the disasters my kids would create

Anyway, if you wanna be even just slightly sophisticated you need to at least add wet wipes to the mix.

What a great topic. After I just saw an anus discussion resurface here this is oddly fitting laugh
