Are these basically different figures that are not compatible with one another? I tried fitting a Gumdrops Candy outfit to one of the Gumdrops Stand-Alone figures (Argus) and the outfit went crazy.
Please advise.

Sorry Double-posted. My understanding was the stand-alones and candy had the same geometry.

It was my experience that the clothing was made such that the clothing was part of the original human figure mesh and not a seperate mesh like real clothing is.
IIRC the standalone figures were based on the same mesh as Candy but have the clothes built-in, you can't change their clothes.
Thanks. Don't remember ever seeing them before.
I thought so as well, but clothes should still be allowed to fit and molded clothes could be turned off. But when i attempted to load clothes and they would go haywire.

Without Autofit etc., figures can only share clothes if they share rigging. Mesh doesn't matter. Argus' rigging has to support his clothes since they are part of his body, so maybe the rigging compatibility wasn't possible. Or maybe they were just rigged totally differently for no real reason... would be curious if Argus/Candy have the same skeleton.
Interesting. Ive tried some other clothing options and they appear to be working ok. Maybe it was something special about the one outfit i tried (Asian Clothes), that didnt take so well to the Stand-Alones rigging. I tried it on Cupcake and it works no problem.
