how do you tell if you are registered or not?

What is going on here. Every time that I try to post something. Then I try to preview it, it disappears. I have been trying to solve this problem for 5 days now. All I want to know is, how do you know if you are registered or not? I tried to fill out a ticket for technical support. But they wanted a order number and transaction number. I looked in my order numbers. And the only thing that I found was for Daz Studio 3. I believe it was back in 2010. But there was a serial number. What I would like to do is access AniMate2. But all I see is animate Lite. Here are some snapshots:

Have you purchased  Animate 2      https://www.daz3d.com/animate2   It is a Commercial Product.   Animate light is included in DS I believe, but not animate 2.

  • I was going to do that. (Look at note on attachment.) The way I understand it. Is AniMate2 comes with registration.

It says the serial number will be added to your account once you order the product.

  • I think I see now. Not registering Daz Studio. But registering AniMate2. Is that right?

    yes

  • You get a thirty day demo version of AniMate 2 on first nstalling DS, then it turns into AniMate Lite until you enter an AniMate 2 serial number.

Hi Richard, it's making sense now. Although I don't think it's a 30 day trial. I just had this installed through the install manager. At the gym last Friday. It's probably only three days.

  • I noticed that AniMate2 is the only plug-in that requires a serial number. Does that mean that all the other plugins are included?

  • Decimator too, assuming you don't have the purchased version of DS 4 pro, and i can't recall if you get the Dynamic Clothing Control plug-in with the base application.

  • Thanks Richard, that answered a lot for me. Although now I'm wondering what is the difference between the free version, and the paid version?
  • Decimator is, as far as I know, the only difference.

  • Thank you Richard and Chohole! For helping me understand this.

Glad I could help a bit,  Richard is the main man though,  DS is a bit of a mystery to me
