Hello.
I added dForce Modifier to non dForce skirt and it's waisband slides down while simulation (on 2-3 cm). It doesn't happend with dForce skirt from dForce H&C School Uniform for Genesis 8 Female and other skirt I've cheked. I noticed that problem is not in dForce parameters, becaus school skirt works well even with default dforce settings.
What a secret here? Or I have crooked arms? :)
Thanks.

More info.
I deleted dForce Modifier from school skirt and added again as I usually do. And it slides down! OMG, my hands are crooked! How to fix this? :)
Screenshot added - the way I adding dForce
The question is: how to add dForce Modifier to skirt properly.
Thank you.
The skirt from school uniform most probably doesn't use just default parameters, my guess would be that they use a dForce weight map to control the simulation.
dForce weight map? What a hell is that?! :)
I can't found this instrument :(
Before you use dforce, you are better served by reading the dforce thread located here. It's a long thread but full of awesome tips and tricks and it's about as good as a manual. Trying to use it with no knowledge whatsoever and then asking people to walk you through each step isn't going to be very productive. But that thread has some good stuff in it. :)

Thanks for the link.
btw, I am not asking people to walk me through each step. I just asking "what a secret" here
Thing is tho, dforce is so new it takes a little bit of learning and there are some steps you might want to be familiar with :). It's very powerful, if still a little twitchy, but it's still new. It'll get better :)
Oh, and btw, there is a link to a video in that thread by Mada that shows how to use a weight map to hold something in place.

dForce weight map is a map you can use to control how much dForce influences the vertices of your surface, for example il you set it to 0 on some vertices they won't move at all when you run the simulation.
If you add a dForce weight map to your skirt and give a 0 or very small influence to the vertices of waistband then those will not be affected by simulation, but the rest of the skirt will.
Thanks, Leana. I gessed that it is something like Weight map for bones.
I will add it. I promise :)
Whe you apply a dforce modifer to an object it makes the whole object work with dforce. PAs that are more knowledgable will also paint the weightmaps on only parts of the object leaving other parts not able to use dforce. For instance, Kinely hair by ladylittlefox. It only has certain parts like the lower bangs and the tails that are affected by dforce, the rest is stationary.
If the waistband has its own surface you can set the Dynamic Strength to 0 in the Surfacs pane, weight mapping is needed only when there isn't a surface group in the right place (and you don't want to create one with the Geoemtry Editor).
I came to the same conclusion after playing with Weight mapping awile. In my particular case it was more convenient to do what I wanted with Dynamic Strength, Buckling Stiffness and Buckling Ratio paremeters. But anyway I know "the secret" now. Thanks all.
