Product Installing Through Daz Connect With No Files

Hi everyone :D

I've just changed my Daz Connect folder, and I had no problems since I can use every file.

But now I'm trying to install the products I've bought today, the installation is super fast, but no files appear: I've tried "Install Update" but nothing changes. The same if I uninstall and reinstall, update metadata, close and open Daz etc.

It's not just happening with this product, but with all the products I've bought today.

I'm using the 4.11 Public Build.

Had this ever happened to you? Do you know how to solve this? Thanks! :D

  • Did you try uninstall, close DS, open DS after a few minutes (or check with Task Manager to be sure it and PostgreSQL have stopped running), and only then reinstall?

    I've done that without checking if PostgreSQL had stopped, but I've also tried to restart my PC with the products uninstalled!

    Now I've deleted every product, uninstalled Daz Studio and Post.., reinstalled them with DIM, and when I open Daz it tells me that the Post... is not working!!! :'(

    And if I try to install something with DIM it tells me "Failed to Install"

  • I hate to repeat, but did you make sure that PostgreSQL wasn't running when you closed DIM before starting DS (or start DS before closing DIM)? It doesn't look as if this is a general issue - I'd have expected some "me too" posts by now if it was - so it may be a local issue (what security software are you using?), or an issue with your account (you may need to open a Sales Suport ticket).

    Something corrupted when I moved the library around.

    I've fixed the Post... issue deleting everything from the "AppData" folder, uninstalling and reinstalling it.

    Now I'm able to slowly download everything again, it works.

    I can't use DIM because I can't see the thumbnails if I use it, maybe this is because I've set the thumbnail folder to another place. Anyway, the top right logo bothers me too much to use DIM, even if it's faster to download :'(
