So before a recent re-installation of my windows 10 I was able to do some pretty speedy Iray renders. Since updating my drivers etc I have done another Iray render but It took forever! and it wasn't like it was an overly big or rich or complex scene either. Before it was something like 15 minutes now its something like close to an hour if not more.
I figure there must have been a daz settings render option or someting that I have missed which enables you to fully utilize your graphics card. Mine is a GeForce GTX 1060. Is there a way I can be sure I am using it for Daz renders? thanks.

Is it shown and checked in the Advanced tab of the Render Settings pane?
DS doesn't use video card at all or in some scenes? Try to render a simple prop. If it works on simple scenes, then Video Memory is not enougt for more complex scenes (especially with Genesis 8 figures). In other case the problem is in drivers (IMHO). Try previouse version of driver. There are many threads with such question on this forum. Try search.
K thx guys I think I have it sorted.
I am experiencing the same problems please can you let me know how you fixed it?
Thanks!
I had a similar problem last year. It didn't see the Nvidia card at all. The only cure for me was to reinstall Windows. Uninstalling and reinstalling Daz Studio did not help. A GTX 1060 has 6GB VRAM, which is plenty for most scenes. That's what I have too.
I had this happen a few months back. Updating my drivers with nVidia drivers did the trick. It had been working, so I assume that windows 10 updated their generic driver, which wasn't compatible with iRAY. For the record, DAZ could see the card and let me check the box to indicate that it was to be used, but checking that box didn't change anything (nor did unchecking and checking it back as someone suggested).
